  • Going to the game tonight with my folks & my husband. Will post from the game, may not be able to read stuff, depends on Dome WiFi. #
  • I can't recall a trade deadline where there have been this many trades. I feel like we need some sort of flow chart to track all of this. #
  • Have decided to wear my white satiny Torii Hunter Twins shirt tonight (a.k.a. my wedding jersey). I should get Torii to sign it someday. #
  • I never see Twins fans pester Mickey Hatcher for his autograph. I should bring his big glove card & have it signed. #
  • Roy Smalley is signing a few autographs for fans; I can understand asking for his auto, but not for Coomer's. #
  • Torii is signing for people who are leaning down from above Angels dugout. #
  • The woman who just sat down in front of us is wearing a LOT of perfume. Unpleasantly so. #
  • When Go-Go makes boneheaded plays in the outfield, I think they should pull him & bring in Delmon. #
  • The crowd applauded the very impressive thunder during Justin's at bat Pity Justin didn't give us reason to cheer. #
  • Anyone know why Cuddy left the game? #
  • And the weeping begins. #

  • Wondering why Reebok thinks female Twins fans are only interested in pink Twins shoes. Ew. #

  • On MLB Extra Innings Game Mix station, I can see the game in a little square, but if I go to the channel to watch game, blacked out. #
  • Just seems dumb to black out the game when it isn't actually airing in the Twin Cities anywhere. #
  • So people with DirecTV MLB Extra Innings subs can listen to broadcast, watch on 1/8th or less of screen, but not see full screen. Dumb! #
  • I'm listening to the TRN radio feed via MLB iPod app, watching pitch location in app as well, & I have the TV on MLB Game Mix (muted). #
  • Audio stream is behind the video on DirecTV. I could find a radio and try to get AM 1500. I live in Mpls & have trouble w/ KSTP reception. #
  • Crede, under-the-radar: http://bit.ly/dQRWZ #
  • Can't decide which is worse: this Twins game or the fact that I stepped in cat vomit earlier (without shoes on). #
  • Bert Blyleven is in the A's TV broadcast booth right now, saw him on TV and turned on the audio. #
  • Would prefer it if our starting pitchers wouldn't go out there, suck, and then say "oh, I forgot to mention I've been having some pain." #
  • Earlier I tuned in to the White Sox-Rays game just in time to see Bartlett commit an error that could very well cost the Rays the game. #

  • That was an ugly ugly game. And Cuddy was safe. Argh. #
  • There are gonna be some #twins fans waking up tomorrow and saying "wha happened?!?" Even more so than that other game vs. A's this year. #
  • Stopped by Jerry's Hardware today and was startled by Ron Gardenhire . . . or at least a cardboard standup of him. Carol wasn't around. #
  • These west coast games confuse me. I keep thinking it's only 8pm or so because the game hasn't been underway very long. #
  • I hadn't realized it was pitcher Michael Wuertz who tried to tag Cuddy at home last night; guess it's been awkward since he's from MN. #
  • (Not that it wouldn't be awkward regardless for any A's player. But Wuertz has lots of family in MN who are Twins fans.) #

  • A little surprise to hear Jim Kaat on the Red Sox broadcasts on NESN (thanks to the MLB Extra Innings free preview on DirecTV). #
  • Jim Kaat was demonstrating something about how pitchers field their position. Me: "Whatever, Jim Kaat, what would you know about that!?" #
  • (Wait, he's still winning gold gloves, isn't he?) (Oh how I miss BatGirl.) #
  • Wondering how baseball fans with the MLB Extra Innings package ever leave the house. Probably the only thing blackouts are good for. #
  • Clearly the FOX blackout on Saturday afternoons is for the good of MLB addicts who otherwise would spend all day Saturday on the couch. #
  • It was very odd to root for the Yankees this weekend, but I did and it all worked out for the best for the Twins. #
  • I should be counting how many minutes of this hour-long pre-game show are actually about baseball and how many are a promo for the Dells. #
  • Have abandoned FSN Twins pregame to watch Mets-Braves game 'cause there's no chance of shirtless Coomer there. + actual baseball content. #

  • Hee! RT @JoeCStarTribune: Asked #Twins 3B Joe Crede if he got a new haircut. He smiled and said, "No, I'm just combing it differently." #
  • Thought maybe we were playing the Reds, Cardinals, or Boston when I turned on the game. Texas Rangers in red unis? WTF? #
  • Dear God no– shirtless Coomer and LaPanta?!? Aieeeeeee. #
  • Made a twitter background for this account. Go me! Now if only I'd start posting to WinTwins.net. #
  • Forgot I was home alone and not at the game and almost started applauding Scott Baker after the 8th. Yay Bake! #

  • The 1988 All-Star game is airing on MLB Network and is Twins-tastic. Viola started, TK managing. Gaetti, Winfield, Steinbach all playing. #
  • Bless CobornsDelivers, they still have issues of Sports Illustrated with Mauer on the cover for sale. Sweet! #
  • Amused by headline at MLB.com that calls Buehrle a "workhouse". I think they meant "workhorse" which is what Bert always calls him. #
  • NYTimes article about Jake Mauer: http://www.nytimes.com/2009/07/14/sports/baseball/14mauer.html Nifty! #
