  • Ha ha I hate you Carl Crawford. Yay Orioles! #
  • Holy Crap! @Evan3Longoria! #
  • I love baseball. Really really really love baseball. Other sports? Whatever. Can be fun at times. But baseball rules. #
  • For some reason MLB Network opted to interview some Pujols guy rather than Punto. Huh. #
  • So . . . anyone watch anything good last night? #
  • Beautiful. RT @JPosnanski: A few of my own disordered thoughts about Wednesday night and baseball. http://t.co/znTNLcp1 #
  • I think David Ortiz could really use some hugs right now. #
  • I miss baseball and Target Field already. #
  • I went to 30 games (possibly more like 32, I didn't manage to check in at all) and the Twins won 12 of 'em. Not bad, all things considered. #

  • Beautiful night, sad I'm not at the game but I seem to have caught a cold at the game on Monday. It's that plague-ridden Target Field. #
  • How long did Gordon go by "Flash Gordon"? He did when he first started with the Twins. Introduced himself that way as part of broadcast. #
  • Oh I get it, it's still the Herb Carneal Press Box, but it's the John Gordon radio booth. (Was worried at first.) #
  • Aw. Dan Gladden's getting choked up talking about Herb Carneal & John Gordon. #
  • I always hope it's the NCIS Mark Harmon when they mention Mark Harmon on Twins radio broadcasts & such. Alas, it's not. #
  • Oh, JJ Hardy. Why'd we get rid of him again? (I HAVE NO EARTHLY IDEA.) #
  • I bet it was the awkward Morneau-Mauer-Hardy bromance triangle that meant Hardy had to go. Plus if he were here, he'd've broken something. #
  • I'm still bummed I missed seeing my Mom wear a Pavano-stache for a postseason game last year. Hee. #
  • I'm sorry, I'd like to have seen Twins players on the Twins calendar & more than just Cuddy in the "Thanks, fans" commercial. #
  • All other baseball fans giddy over the crucial games going on today & I'm way too excited about Carl Pavano's facial hair. #TwinsFan #
  • I still love my team. Tough season, but I still enjoyed 30+ games at Target Field and watching almost every other game on TV. #
  • Word. Completely agree. RT @bennyc50: Can the Twins get a mulligan and dedicate next season to Harmon instead? #
  • Holy crap Rays! Go you guys! #
  • Ultimately I think I'm pulling for Detroit to win the Series, but I've kinda loved watching the Rays make this run. Dan freaking Johnson. #
  • I'm too lazy to look up any stats, but it seems like Dan Johnson has been a thorn in our side from time to time. #
  • It'd be interesting to try to compile a list of best days in baseball history as far as multiple good-great-amazing games. #
  • It'd be nice if the AL Central Division winner could NOT face the Yankees in postseason once in a while. (Go get 'em, Detroit!) #
  • Glad to hear my Dad went to the game tonight even though the rest of the family bailed for one reason or another. #
  • Hey– why didn't MLB Network cut to the Twins walkoff hit & post game celebration tonight? (Giggling.) #
  • I want more JJ Hardy RBIs. (No offense, Boston & Boston fans.) #
  • Tigers-Brewers series would be fun. Not for networks, but I'd enjoy it. #
  • It's been fun watching the Orioles play spoiler. Nice throw, JJ Hardy! #
  • Every single day this season, my Mom asks me "why didn't we keep J.J Hardy?" (I DON'T KNOW! It's not like he would've cost much. Then.) #
  • My husband's been away from the net/TV tonight. He's gonna come home and ask what happened in baseball. Will take some time to explain. #
  • Word! RT @dbrauer: As a baseball fan, I'm extremely pleased to watch final day heroics while football fans are calling old people names. #
  • Ruh-Roh. Arguments at Boston-Orioles game. #
  • I want Showalter & Francona to fight! #
  • Should be easy to spot baseball fans at work tomorrow. They'll be the sleepiest and/or most hungover. #
  • Punto, Lohse, Go-Go, LaTroy, Delmon, Henry Blanco, Ayala, Ron Washington all going to postseason. #
  • Hard not to like Evan Longoria, even if he couldn't find his cap. #
  • What a different season we would've had if we'd only kept the trees and Pavano's kept the 'stache. (Or not.) #

  • My Dad just called to report on what a great night he & my Mom had at Target Field. That hasn't happened in a while! (I watched on TV.) #
  • Delmon: 3 for 5. HR, 2B, 3 RBI, 2 R. Thome: 2-3, 2B RBI. LaTroy gets win for Milwaukee. Punto goes bonkers. Hardy: 1 BB, 2 H, 1 R. #

  • Going to game tonight. Can contain excitement, but will miss going to ballpark this fall and winter. #
  • At game with my Dad & HusbandGuy. (@ #twins vs #royals game w/ MLB.com At Bat http://t.co/r7gTLxc9) #
  • Windy in 207 tonight. Someone below us in 207 has Dinkelmania. #
  • Jerry White needs a shepherds hook or lasso. Esp. when Cuddy's out there. #
  • They're doing a championship round of KissCam tonight. No good can come of this. I also fear more proposals. #TargetField #
  • They have Delmon t-shirts & pennants for half off + 20% off in Majestic store. #
  • No one is sitting in our Legends seats; wish we could move down there. #
  • Husband acts like he's at rave even without #glowsticks when Tosoni comes up. And I laugh very very hard. #TargetField #
  • Had last steak sandwich of season. Wah! #TargetField #
  • I joked after Cuddy's HR that we should bail quick before the Twins blew the lead and just pretend that was end of game. I was so right! #
  • We left early, I think the sixth inning may have still been going on or just ending. My folks will be at game tomorrow, I may go on Wed. #
  • Kevin Slowey would like to have a pet duck. I learned this from a YouTube vid of him being interviewed by kids at TwinsFest. #
  • Joe Mauer is frustrated by his injuries/illnesses this year and hopes to play more next year. How is this news? Maybe in the "DUH" section. #
  • I assume Slowey is trying to get sent elsewhere since he's using proper grammar, literary references, & big words. #

  • OMG, just reading about the Span-Valencia accident. Good grief. #
  • Which old pitcher was it who hurt his eye on a pillow feather? Mulholland? I can't remember. #
  • Thought that might be it. Good times. “@KirbysLeftEye: Terry Mullholland, yes.” #
  • Called my Dad. Not sure he was more stunned by Span-Valencia accident or the fact that the Twins were up 2-0. #
  • Pavano's got to be confused & disoriented by entering the game with a lead. #
  • Aaron Sorkin wrote the screenplay for Moneyball. I assume there are a lot of walking & talking scenes. Plus repetitive dialogue! #
  • I miss Dick Bremer. I felt the need to include his last name for obvious reasons. #

  • Right. I should get dressed and find stuff to keep me warm and entertained at Target Field. Can't contain my excitement. #
  • At game with my folks. (@ #twins vs #mariners game w/ MLB.com At Bat http://t.co/r7gTLxc9) #
  • Horses! #
  • I think everyone here today could all comfortably fit in Legends Club seats. # #TargetField #
  • Wifi is slow as molasses today. Can't be because of a crowd. #
  • It still amuses me that the pre-lineup Twins montage graphic features slide reels for slide projectors. #TargetField #
  • No rockets red glare today. #
  • I may yet punch the loud hot dog vendor. Dude, some of us are trying to nap. #TargetField #
  • They have a signed game-used Tolbert helmet in Majestic store for $200. Didn't see price on used Delmon jersey. #priceless #
  • They have a bunch of game used 42 jerseys from J Robinson Day. Blackburn one is $200. Less than a new jersey. Huh. #
  • This game would be better if the dalmation would run on the field. Or if players played while astride Clydesdales. #
  • We need a Clydesdale to stand between third and home so Mariners can't score. #
  • Multiple people on Pentair water cam acted as if under water today. Wow! #
  • At this point showing 1991 highlights on scoreboard at #TargetField is just cruel. Then again: worst to first, baby! #
  • As usual, I'm rooting for a line drive straight at Coomer. #
  • Told husband I had a Cuban. His reply: "By which I assume you mean you had a tryst with Tony O." (Nope, just a sandwich.) #
  • People in seats under big scoreboard are trying to start the wave. Already. Kill me now. #
  • True dat. “@theJBRU: @wintwins A sandwich with Tony O. is pretty special too.” #
  • A two-year-old successfully guessed Slowey's answers to two questions. #
  • I'm cold. Considering becoming fair weather fan. As far as weather goes, I mean. Brrr. #
  • If, as MNDoT says, 394 is gonna be shutdown for two hours between 100 & 494 or thereabouts, they should announce at #TargetField #
  • Wondering what happened near/on 394, I used to live near Ridgedale in that 'hood. My folks will be taking highway 7 home. #
  • Plouffe is pining for Delmon given what good friends they are. It's possible JoeMa has been pining for Hardy. #
  • We really should stop dedicating this season to Harmon. #
  • Forgot to bring glowsticks & Tosoni deserves 'em. #
  • OMG, a new singalong! Totally dedicated to Luke Hughes. Land Down Under. #
  • My parents think it's a very weird song. #
  • Most boring tie game evar. Zzzzzzz. #
  • I miss Justin. And Joe. And Denard. And Kubel. And 'Lexi. And Delmon. Er. #
  • And I think I miss the tater masher most of all. #
  • I see Revere was emulating Cuddy's base running there. He's a veteran, but it's not a good idea. #
  • My Mom hates the way they announce Cuddy. "He's not Kirby Puckett." #
  • Futility is the word for this series. Or season. #
  • I do not want extra innings. Please no. #
  • What if this is the game that never ends in the season that never ends? #
  • I swear people in this one section have been trying to start the wave since the second inning. Fortunately they've failed. #
  • Little things. Our base running rules! #
  • As we left #TargetField I mentioned my hope that they'd covered the lockers with plastic before opening the champagne. #
  • I recommend @MNCommuter @MSP_Traffic @mndottraffic & @mndotnews for locals who want latest on traffic. #

  • In non-baseball local news, I fail to see the point or purpose of Bryant Ave bikeway. Seems a horrid street for it. #
  • Husband was given a robotic inflatable flying shark for his birthday. Pity smuggling it into Target Field would be problematic. #
  • Non-baseball fans look at me strangely when I say, "Go crazy folks, go crazy!" Depending on when I say it, fans do too. #
  • Oops. I slept thru some Slowey goodness, woke to think he might battle out of a jam and not let Ms go ahead, but noooo. Grrr. #
  • Idle speculation: wondering what Twins would be like now if had kept Dickey and/or Livan. Suspect both do better in NL than AL. #
  • Wilson Ramos: 3 hits (including 14th HR of year), 3 RBI, 1 BB. Garza: 6 hits, 1 R, 1 BB, 10 K in complete game. #
  • Hardy: 1 R, 2 H, 1 RBI, 1 SO in 4 ABs. Bartlett: 2 H in 2 ABs. Delmon: 1 H, 2 SO, 4 LOB in 5 ABs. #
  • Must find motivation to go to chilly afternoon game tomorrow. #
