  • Beautiful night, sad I'm not at the game but I seem to have caught a cold at the game on Monday. It's that plague-ridden Target Field. #
  • How long did Gordon go by "Flash Gordon"? He did when he first started with the Twins. Introduced himself that way as part of broadcast. #
  • Oh I get it, it's still the Herb Carneal Press Box, but it's the John Gordon radio booth. (Was worried at first.) #
  • Aw. Dan Gladden's getting choked up talking about Herb Carneal & John Gordon. #
  • I always hope it's the NCIS Mark Harmon when they mention Mark Harmon on Twins radio broadcasts & such. Alas, it's not. #
  • Oh, JJ Hardy. Why'd we get rid of him again? (I HAVE NO EARTHLY IDEA.) #
  • I bet it was the awkward Morneau-Mauer-Hardy bromance triangle that meant Hardy had to go. Plus if he were here, he'd've broken something. #
  • I'm still bummed I missed seeing my Mom wear a Pavano-stache for a postseason game last year. Hee. #
  • I'm sorry, I'd like to have seen Twins players on the Twins calendar & more than just Cuddy in the "Thanks, fans" commercial. #

  • I still love my team. Tough season, but I still enjoyed 30+ games at Target Field and watching almost every other game on TV. #

  • My Dad just called to report on what a great night he & my Mom had at Target Field. That hasn't happened in a while! (I watched on TV.) #
  • Delmon: 3 for 5. HR, 2B, 3 RBI, 2 R. Thome: 2-3, 2B RBI. LaTroy gets win for Milwaukee. Punto goes bonkers. Hardy: 1 BB, 2 H, 1 R. #

  • They're doing a championship round of KissCam tonight. No good can come of this. I also fear more proposals. #TargetField #
  • They have Delmon t-shirts & pennants for half off + 20% off in Majestic store. #
  • No one is sitting in our Legends seats; wish we could move down there. #
  • Husband acts like he's at rave even without #glowsticks when Tosoni comes up. And I laugh very very hard. #TargetField #
  • Had last steak sandwich of season. Wah! #TargetField #
  • I joked after Cuddy's HR that we should bail quick before the Twins blew the lead and just pretend that was end of game. I was so right! #
  • We left early, I think the sixth inning may have still been going on or just ending. My folks will be at game tomorrow, I may go on Wed. #
  • Kevin Slowey would like to have a pet duck. I learned this from a YouTube vid of him being interviewed by kids at TwinsFest. #
  • Joe Mauer is frustrated by his injuries/illnesses this year and hopes to play more next year. How is this news? Maybe in the "DUH" section. #
  • I assume Slowey is trying to get sent elsewhere since he's using proper grammar, literary references, & big words. #

  • OMG, just reading about the Span-Valencia accident. Good grief. #
  • Which old pitcher was it who hurt his eye on a pillow feather? Mulholland? I can't remember. #

  • Called my Dad. Not sure he was more stunned by Span-Valencia accident or the fact that the Twins were up 2-0. #
  • Pavano's got to be confused & disoriented by entering the game with a lead. #
  • Aaron Sorkin wrote the screenplay for Moneyball. I assume there are a lot of walking & talking scenes. Plus repetitive dialogue! #
  • I miss Dick Bremer. I felt the need to include his last name for obvious reasons. #

  • This game would be better if the dalmation would run on the field. Or if players played while astride Clydesdales. #

  • In non-baseball local news, I fail to see the point or purpose of Bryant Ave bikeway. Seems a horrid street for it. #
  • Husband was given a robotic inflatable flying shark for his birthday. Pity smuggling it into Target Field would be problematic. #
  • Non-baseball fans look at me strangely when I say, "Go crazy folks, go crazy!" Depending on when I say it, fans do too. #
  • Oops. I slept thru some Slowey goodness, woke to think he might battle out of a jam and not let Ms go ahead, but noooo. Grrr. #
  • Idle speculation: wondering what Twins would be like now if had kept Dickey and/or Livan. Suspect both do better in NL than AL. #
  • Wilson Ramos: 3 hits (including 14th HR of year), 3 RBI, 1 BB. Garza: 6 hits, 1 R, 1 BB, 10 K in complete game. #
  • Hardy: 1 R, 2 H, 1 RBI, 1 SO in 4 ABs. Bartlett: 2 H in 2 ABs. Delmon: 1 H, 2 SO, 4 LOB in 5 ABs. #
  • Must find motivation to go to chilly afternoon game tomorrow. #
